Nestled in Taylorsville, Utah, you’ll find Salt Lake Community College, an institution with multiple campus locations across the Salt Lake Valley. Originally built in the 1960s, these campuses were in need of HVAC and plumbing upgrades and repairs. One facility in particular, the Student Center, was outdated and required a complete remodel. Throughout the building, HVAC and plumbing systems needed replacement as the school wanted to move away from steam generation to a hydronic system.
Our team of experts worked closely with school officials and administration to not only install the new systems but also three large, custom air handlers. Working around class schedules and high-traffic hours, the crew successfully completed the retrofit and controls upgrade, resulting in a more reliable and efficient system.
